Biography
Nashville songwriter Byron Hill has written songs released on seventy-seven RIAA certified Gold and Platinum albums and singles, earning ten ASCAP awards, thirty-two U.S. and Canadian top-ten chart hits, and numerous hits in other worldwide markets. Since signing his first publishing deal in Nashville in 1978, his recorded catalog spans four decades and includes more than 700 recordings. His songs have been recorded throughout the world, and released by artists in the United States, England, Ireland, Scotland, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, Holland, Canada, Australia, and South Africa. With song catalogs at various publishers including Sony/ATV Music Publishing, Universal Music Publishing, Warner Chappell Music and other companies, Byron is currently a staff songwriter at Dan Hodges Music LLC. Byron also serves on the Board of Directors of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI).
