Ashley Scire grew up in a house full of guitars. She always loved to write but never had the urge to play the guitar. That all changed when she entered her freshmen year of high school and finally picked up one of her father’s old acoustic guitars. She was instantly hooked and never wanted to put it down. During high school Ashley spent most of her time writing songs and playing shows in her hometown of Clinton, New Jersey.
At the age of eighteen, she decided to make the move to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a career in songwriting and to attend Lipscomb University. She began playing and writing songs with every chance she had. She quickly felt at home in Nashville, a place where country music is king.
After three years of living in Nashville, Ashley connected with four very special friends and together they created a songwriting community called Smash:30. Instead of taking on the industry as individuals, they all decided to come together and take on the industry as a one. For the last year, Smash:30 has had great success. Their monthly Smash:30 Takeover shows that are hosted at different venues each month have created a buzz around town.
Ashley is excited and looking forward to releasing her first E.P. later this year. She is known for her upbeat catchy songs and her high level of energy when she performs on stage. Music has always been a part of Ashley’s life and she is determined, dedicated and looking forward to sharing her music with the world.
Ashley Scire signed a staff writer deal at Dan Hodges Music in January of 2018.
