
Biography
Born and raised in the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York, Amanda’s voice has been described as “deeply emotional without being remotely fluffy” and “distinctive, both sweet and just a little bit naughty.” Her songwriting commands attention with profound lyrics that are both accessible and without pretension. Her emotion can be found in songs such as “Sometimes A Man Takes A Drink,” which was recorded by Trace Adkins for his “X” album, released in 2008. Amanda has also co-written and recorded a duet with Lee Greenwood entitled, “Nothin’ That I Wouldn’t Do For You.” In addition to performing on stage with the likes of Vince Gill ,The Marshall Tucker Band, and the Charlie Daniels Band, Amanda has also has opened for such artists as Tanya Tucker, Jason Aldean, John Anderson, and Jake Owen.
